Free School Meals - Primary Schools
Primary Schools
Hoople will continue to provide a complete Service Level Agreement to support academy schools with the administration of free school meals. School meals administration will be included in the annual SLA invoice and this now includes the standard Free School Meal processing service and the Pupil Premium Guarantee service.
For the standard service, we start with a prompt assessment of all free school meal applications and provide confirmation of entitlements via secure email. Our experienced staff use specialist software that captures the relevant entitlement information and links into the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and HMRC systems. We are available throughout the school year to provide advice and support via telephone and email and also provide entitlement reports online and in real time, to assist budget setting as well as contacting potential applicants to maximise up-take. This service is based on in year changes and does not include processing of mass application checks at the start of the new Academic year.
For the Pupil Premium Guarantee service, this includes promptly processing all your new starters at the beginning of the academic year as a priority service. You can submit applications for all new starters to ensure you are receiving your maximum funding but can also recheck other year entitlements if you wish to and these will be processed as priority.
The service we offer ensures the administration of your free school meals enables you to accurately claim vital government pupil premium funding for your school.
